People Behind the Petals

Back in early 2023, three people who barely knew each other decided to turn a shared apartment balcony experiment into something real. What started with a dozen dried stems and some honest conversations about what people actually want from flowers has grown into a small team that genuinely cares about bringing thoughtful arrangements to homes across the region.

The Faces You'll Actually Meet

Kamala Huseynova

Creative Lead

Kamala spent seven years working in corporate event planning before realizing she was more interested in the flowers than the meetings. She taught herself dried flower preservation through late-night YouTube videos and countless failed experiments. Her apartment still smells faintly of lavender and something she can't quite identify from a batch that went wrong in summer 2024. She handles most of our custom arrangements and has strong opinions about color theory that she'll happily share if you ask.

Tural Mammadov

Operations Manager

Before joining us in March 2024, Tural ran logistics for a furniture company and got really tired of dealing with damaged goods. He figured flowers couldn't be that different. Turns out they're more fragile, but at least they smell better. He built our entire inventory system using spreadsheets that would make most people weep, and he somehow keeps track of which suppliers deliver on time and which ones need a friendly reminder call every single week.

Client Relations

Leyla joined us in September 2024 after spending five years in hospitality management. She's the person who responds to emails at odd hours because she genuinely enjoys talking with clients about what they're looking for. She once spent forty minutes on the phone helping someone figure out the difference between eucalyptus varieties because the client wanted everything to be just right for their mother's birthday. That's pretty much how she approaches every conversation.

What Actually Matters to Us

1

Honest Communication

We tell you when something won't work before you order it. If a particular stem is looking tired that week, we'll suggest an alternative rather than sending you something we wouldn't want to receive ourselves. Sometimes this means we lose a sale, but it also means people tend to come back when they need arrangements they can trust.

2

Quality Without the Marketing Fluff

Every stem gets inspected twice before it goes into an arrangement. We work with three local suppliers who've proven they understand what fresh actually means, and we've dropped two others who couldn't maintain consistency. The flowers either meet our standards or they don't make it to your door. Pretty straightforward.

Learning as We Grow

We made plenty of mistakes in our first year. Shipped arrangements in boxes that were too small, tried preservation techniques that didn't work in our climate, and learned the hard way that not every flower photograph translates to real life. Each misstep taught us something that made our service better, and we're still figuring things out as we go. That's kind of the whole point.
